The former child cares for the father who has again become a child himself. An enormous portrait of Jesus Christ examines mildly and mutely the fragility of being human. This play by Romeo Castellucci, one of the most radical and important European directors, is one of the most impressive pieces of theatre in recent years.

A choir consisting of 25 women from multiple generations create a new form of music theatre. Director Marta Górnicka addresses humorously, dramatically and musically highly diversified images of women in everyday life.

Father and daughter sit in exile on an island, cut off from the world. This deeply moving two-person piece by Oskaras Koršunovas, renowned director from Lithuania, is based on the drama »The Tempest« by William Shakespeare. It asks questions about power, violence, the desire for freedom, wisdom and the misery of humanity.

Pastor Gunther believes in the good of humanity and has dedicated himself to the rehabilitation of »problem citizens«. Together with the two wonderful actors Armin Kopp und Philippe Nauer, director Dirk Vittinghoff created a light comedy and dark tragedy in a mixture of actor theatre and puppet theatre.

A small creature tries to master its life. The marionette wants to be a person and captures the hearts of the audience. It is manipulated as if by magic, yet it slowly finds its own thoughts. Zoran Petrovič staged this puppet theatre play without language in Slovenian Maribor.

A funeral procession, small children in diapers, sprightly retirees in a nursing home – amusing and entertaining, captivatingly performed, deeply poignant, a theatre play without words. The play combines elements of movement and body theatre, but its biggest secret lies in the phenomenal effect of the masks.
