Dance from the small state of Luxembourg has, until now, been relatively unknown. Until recently, its choreographers have worked in isolation and without much publicity. This all changed in 2005: the Centre de Création Chorégraphique Luxembourgeois / TROIS C-L was opened, financed by the state ministry of culture. Since then, it has been the home of the around ten Luxembourg choreographers, started projects, offered education opportunities, and been the location for small events.

Choreographer and dance teacher Bernard Baumgarten has managed the centre since 2007. At this event, he introduces some of Luxembourg’s choreographers through video excerpts, among them Anne Mareike Hess, Annick Pütz, Anu Sistonen, Gianfranco Celestino and Jean Guillaume Weis. Incidentally, in 1994/95 Baumgarten was training master with Irina Pauls on the Schauspiel Leipzig.

Am 06. und 07. Nov. sind Choreografien von Bernard Baumgarten und Sylvia Camarda zu sehen.
