A woman is found dead in a forest – in a film. The blond actress, however, comments on the event – on the stage. But shortly after that she is dead, too – or does it only seem to be that way? The eerie crime thriller atmosphere mixes with the distant play of the onlookers about hunting and questioning, and their different views of the truth. Relics of the past mix with childlike expectations, at once strange attitudes and familiar opinions.

Norway's dance scene is small. Besides a few municipal theatres there are only a few experimental groups, of which Ny Carte Blanche is the most famous, zero visibility corp., however, the most interesting. Their current productivity is amazing as is their international presence, which has less to do with Northern exotica than with their enormous, though not top-heavy, selfreflection, and their ironic breaking of conventional dance and performance models.

Ina Christel Johannessen is the most significant female choreographer in Norway today. She created most recently the dance productions »Edit: Quartett« (1998) for the company Ny Carte Blanche, which was shown in several European cities, and »Suppose this time I see what he saw« (2000).Together with the well-known stage and light designer, Jens Sethzman, she moves along the boundaries between theatre, dance, film and music in »hunt out (reprise)«, and has found with zero visibility corp. a fantastic mix of action and an oppressive atmosphere of uncertainty. The questions venture far beyond the occasion of finding a corpse into unknown hunting grounds – the subconscious.
